Reminder: July 7 – Final Deadline for Compliance with FAA’s 14 CFR 3.303 Agent for Service Rule
Today, July 7, marks the official enforcement date for the FAA’s rule under 14 CFR 3.303—requiring all FAA certificate holders without a valid U.S. mailing address to designate a U.S. Agent for Service.
As of today, individuals or entities holding FAA certificates or registrations without a U.S.-based address are no longer authorized to exercise the privileges of their certificate. While the certificate itself does not expire, its privileges are suspended until compliance is achieved.
This rule was introduced in October 2024 and has now reached full implementation. Despite some confusion, updating your address alone is not sufficient if it's not U.S.-based. You must either provide a valid U.S. mailing address or designate a qualified Agent for Service, such as AeroServe.
Fortunately, compliance is simple:
Register your Agent for Service at USAS.faa.gov
Complete a quick enrollment with AeroServeAgents.com
Ensure your privileges remain active and avoid any disruptions. For more information on how AeroServe can assist, visit AeroServeAgents.com.
